IN MEMORY OF CAPT. LOUIS FULLERTON JR.

It is with regret that we note the passing of Capt. Louis Fullerton Jr. (Retired) who died on February 5, 2021.  Capt. Fullerton served over 30 years with the Jackson Police Department before retiring.  In addition, Capt. Fullerton was a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Police who served as our treasurer for many years.  Capt. Fullerton was instrumental in stabilizing our lodge and making it into the successful lodge that it is today.  Our Lodge was originally named the Charles W. Wooten FOP Lodge No. 7.  However, in honor of Capt. Fullerton’s dedication to our organization we renamed the Lodge to the Louis Fullerton Jr. FOP No. 7.  Louis Fullerton was a man of honor and he will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

CHARLES W. WOOTEN LODGE RENAMED

During the regularly scheduled meeting on March 13, 2019 the Lodge Membership voted unanimously to rename the lodge to the Louis Fullerton Jr. Lodge.  This was done in recognition of one of our longest serving members, Louis Fullerton Jr.  Brother Fullerton took over as treasurer of the Lodge during a time when the Lodge finances were very troubled.  Through his exhaustive leadership and dedication our Lodge is now on sound financial ground and continues to grow and serve our brothers and sister in Blue.  Please offer your gratulations to Brother Louis Fullerton Jr.!!

2018 Cops and Kids Event

The annual Cops and Kids shopping event was held at the North Jackson Wal-Mart on Tuesday December 11, 2018.  This year’s children were screened by the Boys and Girls Club of Jackson.  Officers from the Jackson Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office helped the kids to shop for themselves and family members.  This event is made possible by the generous donations we receive each year during our annual telephone fundraiser.  Thanks to our many sponsors.
